About the Show
Premiered on Youtube: Sun Feb 20th at 9:10pm ET & Sun Feb 27th at 7:30pm ET
In Crawlspaceblog, we meet Claire. She runs a super hip Airbnb for budding writers in a beautiful forest. She gets her coffee from the farmer’s market. She’s a good listener, and she’ll always give you as many extra towels as you need. Then as you’re getting ready for bed that night, she’ll watch you in your most private, mundane moments, and she’ll tell the world all about every little detail on her blog.
I feel so privileged to have been selected to be one of the 22 directors who worked on Occupy the Stage 22. I love working with The National Women’s Theatre Festival (WTF) because their values align with mine. Occupy began in 2016 as a performance-as-protest to the lack of plays being produced by women playwrights across U.S. stages and has become an annual affirmation of the multitudes of brilliant, diverse work being written by women and underrepresented gender playwrights. Through this annual showcase and community celebration, Occupy advocates for intersectionality in our industry and increased visibility to both audiences and collaborators across the globe. I support their mission and I hope I will be able to work with them again.
