Romeo and Juliet

adapted by Emily Grimany
Bard in a Box
Produced by Illinois Shakespeare Festival
Spring 2024

About the Show

Bard in a Box is the Illinois Shakespeare Company’s touring production company. We brought a 40-minute version of Romeo and Juliet to schools across central Illinois during the Spring of 2024.

We performed in a variety of locations (audioriums, gymnasiums, libraries, and outdoors) bringing only minimal props and costumes.

In addition to the performance, we also provided a workshop and Q&A session to schools who requested it.
